Study links abortion and preemies

I know this blog is not on abortion, but there are some obvious connections to abstinence (or the lack of it) and a perceived need for abortion. So, I thought you’d find this article interesting. Time magazine is bringing a long-known fact into the mainstream. Abortions can quite often lead to premature births in subsequent pregnancies. This is costly to parents and to society. This connection has been established countless times over the years and in many countries. Nice to finally see it in a mainstream publication. Here is the link: Study Links Abortion and Preemies.

Here is a research article from UNC-Chapel Hill OB-GYN professor Dr. John Thorp which provides more information on this, and links to still more info if you’re interested. It’s a .pdf called Long-term Physical and Psychological Health Consequences of Induced Abortion: A Review of Evidence.
